Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 June 2026

The short version: Expora reads your health data on your iPhone and builds your report there. We do not run servers that store it, we do not have accounts, and we never sell your information. What follows is the longer explanation.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Expora app for iPhone. By using the app you agree to what is described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The data Expora reads

Expora works with the health and fitness information stored in Apple Health on your device, such as activity, heart, ECG, breathing, vitals, and body measurements. The app only reads the categories you grant permission for, and you can review or change those permissions at any time in the Apple Health app under Sources.

Where your data goes

It stays on your phone. Expora reads the readings you select and assembles them into a PDF directly on the device. We do not transmit your health data to us or to any third party. When you choose to share or export a report, that file goes wherever you send it, for example to your own files, your email, or a printer. From that point the report is in your hands.

What we do not collect

Analytics and crash reports

If the app uses Apple's standard app analytics or crash reporting, that information is handled by Apple under their terms and is limited to anonymous diagnostics like crash logs and basic usage counts. It does not include your health readings. You can turn this off in your iPhone settings under Privacy and Security, then Analytics and Improvements.

Children

Expora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device, you stay in control of it. Revoke Expora's access in Apple Health whenever you like, and delete any reports you have created through the Files app or wherever you saved them. Removing the app removes its access along with it.

Changes to this policy

If we update how the app handles data, we will post the revised policy here and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out in the app where practical.
